Feet, inches and fractions are how most of the US measures a house, a board or a person, yet ordinary calculators cannot add 5' 3 1/2" to 2' 11 3/4". This site does that, along with the conversions people need every day: decimal feet, inches, centimeters, millimeters and square feet.
Principles
- Fast: answers update as you type, with no buttons to press.
- Exact where possible: results are calculated in full precision and only rounded for display, to the fraction you choose, with a note when rounding happened.
- Private: everything runs in your browser.
